Is Premium Cataract Surgery painful?
No—numbing drops and mild sedation make the procedure comfortable. Most patients feel little to no discomfort.
How soon will I see results?
A: Many patients notice clearer vision within a day or two, with continued improvement over the first few weeks.
How is this different from standard cataract surgery?
Standard surgery removes the cataract but often still requires glasses. Premium surgery also corrects refractive errors for greater independence from eyewear.
Can it correct astigmatism?
Yes—toric premium lenses are designed to correct astigmatism during cataract surgery.
Will cataracts come back?
No—once the cloudy lens is replaced with an IOL, cataracts cannot return.
Will I still need reading glasses?
With the right multifocal or extended-depth-of-focus lens, many patients can see well at multiple distances without reading glasses.
